JTT Forever

It is now 6 days til Christmas and we are watching Tom and Huck, because Jonathan Taylor Thomas. I wonder what he's doing these days because I haven't seen him in anything in eons. A quick IMDB search tells me that he hasn't really been in anything other than random appearances on tv shows. I must watch them all now. He was my first celebrity crush. I watched everything he was in except Home Improvement. I tried many times to get into it since he was in it, but, being like 9, it was not my cup of tea. This was one of my favorite movies as a child, I did however prefer Elijah Woods version of Huck Finn better than Brad Renfro's. But that's probably because I watched Huck Finn way before Tom and Huck.

I've never been done with all of my Christmas shopping so early. I'm usually finishing up on Christmas Eve. I mean, I'm sure I've forgotten someone important and will have to make a last minute Walmart run. Actually, I take that back. I still haven't finished shopping for my husband. I do know what I'm getting though. I just haven't actually made it into town alone to get it.

I always felt so sorry for Muff Potter. Stupid Injun Joe. Who I know realize is supposed to be an "Indian". I'm sure that is at least a little bit racist. But holy crap! I just noticed that the guy who plays the mayor is the dad from Hocus Pocus! I watched both of these movies non stop as a child. How did I never realize that??? And I believe that Elijah Wood Huck would have saved Muff. Brad Renfro Huck is mean. I guess years of wandering alone on a river changes a man...

Seeing as how this is turning into a commentary on Tom and Huck I'm going to go now. I will try to be back with slightly better content sometime before Christmas. No promises.
